Since the beginning of 2025, I’ve been cycling across several countries in Southern and Eastern Africa—South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, and Tanzania. 

As of now, I’ve covered over 6,000 km since starting this journey on January 14th.

Along the way, I’ve witnessed firsthand just how transformative a bicycle can be. In many rural areas, access to transportation means access to education, healthcare, markets—and a chance at independence. Yet, too few women and girls have access to this basic tool. For them, a bicycle isn’t just a mode of transport—it’s a means to reclaim time, opportunity, and dignity.
